Welcome to Quarter Life

Also known as: The Twenty-Fifth Birthday Celebration

I apologize for the late post — as usual, work took over my life and it didn’t stop even during my birthday. It’s kind of stopping now, thank goodness, and I find it kind of strange that it took me up until the end of March to blog about my birthday. Usually I do that on the day itself, or at least, a few days after.

Maybe this is a sign of aging.

Anyway. My 25th birthday started a little early when I met up with one of my best friends, Happy, for a one-on-one girl talk. That’s where I got my first cake of the day, the Starbucks Cake Pop (which was awesome, by the way). I got home before midnight, and then the greetings started pouring in. :)

Cookie says "Happy birthday!"

I stayed awake a little bit more to answer some messages and answer a phone call from Dodge before going to bed. Then the real fun started.

Cake Pop!

Also known as: My first cake for 25 :)

I wanted to write an entry at midnight, but I was too sleepy. I will catch up later, I promise! In the meantime…here’s my first “cake” as the last minutes of my 24th year ticked by:

Thanks to Happy for the picture and the Pinky Pop from Starbucks. Yummy stuff.

Oh, and I’m giving away some stuff here! Win a book and help Japan, too! :)

I’ll be back later. Hey, hey Twenty Five! You’re turning out to be a fun day so far. ♥

Quarter-Life Wants

Also known as: The 25th birthday wish list

You know what is the most useful thing that people make for Christmas and birthdays (and sometimes, even Valentine’s Day)? Wish lists. While I always appreciate surprises and people who know me so well that they know what to give me without having to rely on any wish list, I find that it’s always fun (and helpful) to make a wish list. Because at some point, people do consult this, and sometimes I end up getting them on my own.

Jumping off from the Law of Attraction post and from what I did last Valetine’s Day and the fact that my brother is waiting for me to post this…I present the 25th birthday wish list. :)

Oh, and it’s exactly 10 days until I turn 25. :)

Something I ask prayers/thoughts for:

Meaning, I don’t think anyone can give this to me except for the issuing people, so, prayers and thoughts will be appreciated. :)

  • Schengen Visa for WYD 2011 – self-explanatory. I’ll worry about the airfare later, need the visa first. Prayers, please? :)
