I figure it’s high time I move to a domain that has my name after living in the last for almost 7 years. Let’s say this is me growing up.

I’m Tina, 25 years old, living in the Philippines.

I’ve been online since I was in high school and been blogging for almost a decade. I have a huge internet footprint, and while I realize that isn’t necessarily a good thing, but it’s too late to get rid of that. I graduated with a degree of Computer Science specializing in Instructional Systems Technology from De La Salle University. I worked as a Product Development Supervisor for one of the telecommunications company in the country for 10 months, then moved to a multinational company as a web content developer and I’ve been there since then. On the side, I helped produce some concerts and I write. I read like there’s no tomorrow, and I attempt to be a novelist once a year, and I also like running and dancing even if I’m not sure if they like me back as much as I like them.

I talk to myself sometimes when I’m alone, and I name my gadgets and credit cards so I can take care of them better. I want to do a lot of things in this lifetime, including but not limited to: (1) travel by myself; (2) confess to the Pope; (3) go on a mission trip; (4) publish a novel; (5) drive my own car; (6) be financially free; and (7) have a family. I’m a Warrior Chick, a work in progress, and a sinner always in need of His grace.

I have had this domain for almost two years now and I really had no idea what to do with this. Then I came to a point in my life where I wanted a fresh start, but I also did not want to leave all the other things I wrote on my old site. It’s hard when you’re all nostalgic/sentimental and stuff. So after a long, long, long thought process among other things (including an insanely long .htaccess file), I’ve moved. All fresh, but memories are still in tact. Just in time for 2011, too.

tinamats.com is my personal blog, my space to rant, to talk, to write about random things of interest. I don’t think you’ll find anything world-shaking here, but if you do, then I’m glad you did. :)
